COAL TOWNSHIP — Shamokin Area’s boys basketball team didn’t much like losing to Southern Columbia late last season as the Indians stumbled to a 6-12 finish.

So the Indians were ready to play the Tigers Wednesday in the championship game of the Bob Probert Memorial Tournament. It didn’t show too much at first, but once the Indians got going, they really got going on the way to a 63-39 win.
