It wasn’t the prettiest win for Southern Columbia, but a win they will take. The Tigers held off a young Central Columbia squad on Friday evening inside of Charles Nesbitt Gymnasium, 59-51, by taking control with their depth.

Southern rotated players in throughout their lineup, and with tough defense were able to pick up a key victory in the PHAC against a Blue Jay squad that made the district final last season. With a strong defensive performance, the Tigers were able to claw out the win despite committing 21 turnovers and shooting just 3-of-14 from the foul line.
