FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP — In a season of cancellations, postponements, days and weeks off from school and you name it, one thing has remained constant in Pennsylvania high school football — Southern Columbia.

The Tigers have been affected in some ways by COVID-19 like any other high school team in the country. They have had two highly anticipated games cancelled, one (Berwick) because of the pandemic and the other (Mount Carmel) because of the Red Tornadoes’ lack of numbers because of injuries before their season was cancelled because of a team hazing incident.
