MOUNT CARMEL — Mount Carmel has turned in some absolutely outstanding performances in the rushing game this year, and another chapter was added to that book on Saturday in the District 4 Class 2A district quarterfinal against Bloomsburg.

After having their lead cut to just two scores with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Red Tornadoes ended the game with four consecutive unanswered touchdowns and finished with 554 rushing yards, as Mount Carmel dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in a 54-13 win over the Panthers.
