MANDATA — On Friday, Line Mountain girls basketball suffered a home defeat at the hands of Greenwood, but in the grand scheme of things, the Eagles still have a lot to be proud of.

“We have a lot of confidence with our girls, (Liberty) Downs and (Emily) Gonsar, included,” Line Mountain head coach Ian Lundy said. “They’re quick and they’re aggressive and they really battle at times. We don’t always finish. We got in the lane tonight, but it was tough to finish over some of their length. The pick and roll fouls in the first half, it was tough, but we kind of made it through without any real major damage with the foul situation. The guards have really stepped up and did some good things.”
