FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP — The rim appeared to be as large as an ocean for Southern Columbia’s Ava Novak on Thursday night.

The Tigers’ sophomore rarely missed, sinking 12 field goals — including five of her nine attempts from beyond the arc — to post a career-high 30 points and propel Southern to a wall-to-wall victory over Central Columbia, 65-46.
