SHAMOKIN — Sadie Komara scored two goals on Saturday evening, her 49th and 50th of her career at Shamokin Area High School, and the Indians girls soccer team got their season off to a good start with a 4-3 overtime win against Shikellamy.

Shamokin outscored Shikellamy 3-1 in the first half, but the Braves came back to even things up at three in the second half, forcing overttime. Carly Nye scored the game winning goal for Shamokin in overtime and also had an assist in the game.
