Red Tornado Lauren Shedleski had a team-high 18 points and teammate DaniRae Renno scored 17.

MAHANOY CITY — In a low-scoring affair between Lourdes and Mahanoy Area, the home squad made enough noise and knocked off the Red Raiders, 39-34, on Thursday.

Kendall Bernardyn led all scores with 12 as the Golden Bears won their regular season finale, Thursday.

Frances Czeponis and Sierra Coleman each tallied 10 points for the Red Raiders.

Boys Basketball Line Mountain 47, Newport 26

MANDATA — Breven Derk and Nick Williams led Line Mountain boys basketball to a 47-26 victory on Thursday.

Newport was held to 10 points in the first half and never scored more than eight in a quarter.

Derk posted 13 points as Williams scored a team-high 15 for the Eagles.
