KULPMONT — A pair of 3-run innings helped Mount Carmel record an 8-3 victory at home over Bloomsburg on Wednesday.

The Red Tornadoes got out to a 3-0 lead after the second, but  the Panthers answered by cutting the deficit to one after scoring a run in the next two innings. Mount Carmel responded with another 3-run rally in the bottom of the fifth to take control of the contest. The Red Tornadoes then padded their lead by adding a pair of runs in the fifth and sixth.
