District 4 released its 17-team bracket for the team wrestling championships set to take place today through Saturday.

In the lone pigtail match, Canton (5-5) will travel to Line Mountain (9-7) tonight in a battle of the No. 17 and No. 16 seeds, respectively. The winner will face top-seeded Southern Columbia (14-0) on Wednesday in Tiger territory at 7 p.m.

Mount Carmel snuck into the top-half of the bracket as a No. 8 seed and will host Montoursville on Wednesday night.

After the round of 16 matches on Wednesday, the tournament will conclude with the eight surviving teams traveling to Milton on Saturday. Quarterfinal action begins at 11 a.m.

The winner of the district duals will earn a trip to Hershey, while the second and third-place finishers will have to win a play-in match to punch a ticket to Giant Center.

Play-in matches for states are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 4, with the District 4 runner-up hosting the District 9 runner-up at 7 p.m. and the District 4 third-place finisher traveling to the District 3 runner-up, also at 7 p.m.

The state tournament will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, through Saturday, Feb. 9, at Giant Center in Hershey.

No. 15 Benton (7-5) at No. 2 Muncy (17-1).

No. 14 South Williamsport (11-7) at No. 3 Danville (16-2).

No. 13 Mifflinburg (12-7) at No. 4 Troy (8-1).

No. 12 Lewisburg (14-8) at No. 5 Sullivan County (13-3).

No. 11 Wyalusing (11-6) at No. 6 Athens (9-3).

No. 10 Towanda (12-6) at No. 7 Central Columbia (16-6).

No. 9 Montoursville (9-4) at No. 8 Mount Carmel (12-5).
