AEW and WWE will be presenting big pay-per-view shows on the next two weekends and the promotion’s television shows this past week were understandably geared toward promoting those events, although AEW had a much stronger push while WWE treaded rather lightly, apparently opting to wait until the final week to go big for Survivor Series.

They were actually focusing more on promoting Wrestlemania than their annual fall classic. Unfortunately, ratings for all of the wrestling television programs were down this past week, which could be an anomaly or an early sign that interest has crested or maybe there is simply too much wrestling on television right now.
