ELYSBURG — Former longtime Milton Area School District administrator Chuck Fritzges is counting down the days until his next retirement.

Fritzges, who has spent much of his free time the last three decades at the Valley Gun and Country Club in Elysburg, the site of the Pennsylvania State Shotgunning Association and its annual state shoot, retired three years ago as the tournament’s first-ever shoot manager.
