Tracks throughout the Pennsylvania region, including Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway look to host another weekend of racing.

Williams Grove Speedway lost its Friday night opener last week, but return with the same racing card tonight featuring the 410 sprint cars and the ULMS Late Model Series.

Qualifying heats will determine the starting line-up for the 25-lap feature for the 410 sprint cars, paying $4,080 to the winner; while time trials and qualifying events will set the field for the 30-lap, $3,000-to-win, late model feature. Jason Covert took the victory when the stock cars were in action at the Mechanicsburg oval, last June. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30.

A wide variety of action fills the racing calendar tomorrow of sprint cars, stock cars and enduro events.

Baps Motor Speedway will present a four division card of winged super sportsman, limited late models, street stocks and extreme stocks, as gates open at 3 p.m. and racing takes the green flag at 5...Lincoln Speedway hosts a doubleheader show of the 358 sprint cars and 410 sprint cars with a 6 p.m. start. Alan Krimes took the 410 sprint car win last Saturday, while Troy Wagaman won the 358 feature at the Abbottstown oval.

Port Royal returns to action following last weekend’s two day program. Dylan Cisney took the checkers in the 410 feature on Saturday and Jason Covert was the late model winner; while Anthony Perrego won the modified feature on Sunday and Michael Norris was the late model victor. Tomorrow’s 4 p.m., three division show features the 410 sprint cars, late models and limited late models and a few other area tracks are offering their racers some practice sessions before their respective official racing season begins.

Big Diamond Speedway will offer a practice session on Sunday afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by an Enduro Dash 50 along with Vintage stock cars, and the same program will be offered next Friday night at 7 p.m. A new racing surface has been worked into the track over the off season, along with many other improvements. The Schuylkill County oval will kick off its 2019 campaign on Friday, April 12…Grandview Speedway hosts a practice session tomorrow at noon, heading into their 57th season of racing action. The VP Fuels Bruce Rogers Memorial offers a $7,500 paycheck to the winner of the 50-lap feature, big block versus small block event on April 6…Selinsgrove Speedway also hosts an open practice session tomorrow at 1 p.m., with their 2019 season opener, slated for next Saturday, April 6…Mahoning Valley Speedway looks to offer practice sessions tomorrow and Sunday afternoons, before hosting their 2019 season opener next Saturday, April 6…All practice sessions offer free general admission for the fans. Mahoning Valley Speedway officials worked along with Evergreen Raceway (near Hazleton) to present a nine race, Small car Enduro Series. Evergreen will host the four cylinder series opener tomorrow afternoon at noon, and the events will alternate monthly at each track.
