LOCK HAVEN — At least six Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schools voted to have their respective swimming and cross country teams participate in league championships, causing the conference’s board of directors to permit championship competitions for the two sports.

Previously, the board voted not to allow fall or winter championships — unless six or more institutions voted to have teams participate in a specific sport. Swimming and cross country, which are both delegated as low-risk sports by the NCAA COVID-19 Advisory Panel, had at least six member schools vote to have their teams participate on both the men and women’s side.
