MCA versus NS

Mount Carmel’s Julien Stellar attempts to pick up more yardage while being tracked down by North Schuylkill’s Adam Scott (83) in the first quarter of a game at the Silver Bowl in Mount Carmel earlier this season.

The Mount Carmel Red Tornadoes amassed 314 yards on the ground last week against Hughesville, and 214 yards in week one, totaling 528 rushing yards in the first two weeks of the season.

Head coach John Darrah seems content to continue running the ball with a variety of looks and a variety of backs getting carries. Having multiple options at running back gives Mount Carmel a chance against teams that have players that play one way.
