COAL TOWNSHIP — Nearly every high school sports team has undoubtedly been effected by COVID-19 in one way or another. However, Shamokin and Lourdes Regional’s volleyball teams have been dealing with some complicated matters as the only indoor sport to take place this academic year so far.

Dealing with a max capacity of 25 people under Gov. Tom Wolf’s indoor gathering limitations, it was not 100% clear how the sport would even be able to resume this academic school year when the PIAA approved the resumption of sports in August.
