SYBL celebrates 45th year of youth basketball

The Shamokin Youth Basketball League (SYBL) is celebrating its 45th year of basketball, according to league president Mike Duganitz. Pictured are players from Pristine Floor and Elysburg Burger King teams in the league's "C" division during a game held Monday at the American Legion building in Shamokin. This year, the league consists of 27 teams and 310 players who attend school in grades two through eight.
