HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Wolf announced Wednesday that the time-limited mitigation orders, which included a pause on interscholastic sports, will expire Jan. 4 at 8 a.m.

This means PIAA teams can hold practices as early as Monday morning. Under PIAA’s latest return-to-play policy, teams who have completed at least six days of practice can compete in athletic competitions as soon Jan. 8. Teams with six or more days of practice must hold four more before competing in against another team, including a scrimmage.
