A pretty predictable two nights of the WWE draft on Smackdown and Raw, results from AEW’s second anniversary Dynamite and the death of a former wrestling star who older fans might remember, but whose handiwork current fans have definitely seen are among our headlines this week in the pro wrestling world.
Round one of the WWE draft last week saw Universal champ Roman Reigns get drafted for Smackdown, where he already was and was likely to stay since Fox is the more important station than USA. Charlotte Flair was brought over to Smackdown with the Raw title. Newly crowned WWE kingpin, Big E, was drafted number one for Raw and Bianca Belair changed her address to Raw as well. The biggest moment on the show was a surprise appearance, as in unadvertised, by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was there to declare himself a free agent, attack Roman and officially challenge Reigns for Crown Jewel.
